It is essential for companies to be able to offer all of these services online because it allows them to reach a wider range of customers and earn more.

We found that demographic variables, such as gender, age, socioeconomic standing, and levels of participation were associated with perceived benefits from online services for social and health services. ICT-related variables (i.e. accessibility, ability to use, and the degree of use) were most consistently associated with benefits. Moreover, self-rated poor health was consistently related to lower perceptions of the benefits of all those studied.
